Class Schedule & Registration

This page outlines critical timelines and procedures for students throughout the academic year. This guide serves as a comprehensive resource for understanding the administrative and academic processes at DULA.

Class Schedule

Registration Process

Official didactic class registration begins on the 9th week (Mondays) and ends on the 13th week (Fridays) during each school quarter. Official clinic shift registration begins on the 10th week (Mondays) and ends on the 11th week (Fridays) during each school quarter. It is important that students register their courses during the registration period. For more details date — please refer to the academic calendar.

Registration for didactic classes and/or clinic shifts is available through the DULA Populi System. Follow the procedure below to register:

  1. Have your user account ID and password ready.
  2. When the registration period opens, click the course registration notice at the top of the homepage.
  3. Choose the class you want to register for and submit to confirm the total tuition.
  4. Pay the tuition fee through the DULA Populi System or call the DULA front desk office at (213) 487-0110.

When admitted as a DULA student, you will receive a student ID and a link to activate your Populi account via email. Your student ID is your user account for logging in to Populi. Contact the Admissions office at [email protected] if you forget your Populi user account information.

DULA's Institutional Examination

Please contact the OMC manager ([email protected]) regarding the MCE practical exam and the Academic Department ([email protected]) regarding the exam content and additional procedures.

Mid-curriculum Exam (MCE)

Prior to beginning Level II of the clinical internship, students are required to pass a mid-curriculum exam (MCE) both written and practical in order to evaluate their progress, skills, and competencies. The passing score for the mid-curriculum exam / MCE (both written and practical) is 70%.

Comprehensive Graduation Exam (CGE)

Students are required to pass the Comprehensive Graduation Exam (CGE) in order to graduate. Students are strongly encouraged to take the CGE as soon as they are eligible in order to have enough time to practice and pass the exam. The passing score is 70%.
