Greetings and Special Lecture from President of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, Dr. Kim Jong Yeol
Opening the New Academic Year 2020
On January 6th, 2020, DULA welcomed the new academic year of 2020 and begun the Winter Quarter. On this very first day of our new academic year, DULA hosted Dr. Kim, Jong Yeol to greet our students, faculty and staff.
Dr. Kim is the president of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM) and a professor at the University of Science and Technology (UST). He served as the vice-president of KIOM and Director of Sasang Constitutional Medicine Research Division of KIOM. His educational background includes B.E. and M.Sc. in structural engineering, a Korean Medicine Doctor (KMD) from Kyung Hee University and Ph.D. in Korean Medicine from Won Kwang University. His research interests include constitutional medicine, traditional medicine and medical devices.
During this event, President Kim welcomed all of DULA students, faculty and staff and also provided a special lecture about Sasang constitution and introduction about Korean Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM), and their current standing in the development of the medicine and research.
